Welcome to the 2019 Houston Classic! We have 10 teams playing our last 6 goal tournament.

Tournament Format
- Bracket 1 & 2: 3 teams in each bracket, teams will play 3 games cross bracket.  Teams will be ranked 1 through 6 based on records. Top 2 records advance to a cross bracket semifinal with Bracket 3
- Bracket 3:  4 teams, everyone plays everyone. The top record advances to a cross bracket semifinal with Brackets 1 & 2.
- The 4th semifinalist is the better of the third place record in Bracket 1 & 2 and second place record in Bracket 3. We will have shootout if both teams have tied records.
- For the semifinal pairings, Bracket winners will be separated. If possible, teams will play a team they have not played. Otherwise, bracket winners will draw from the other two.
 - If the tournament pushes due to rain and we cannot finish the semis on/before Nov 2nd, then the semis will be removed and the finals will be held during the following week on the earliest possible day (between Nov 4th - 10th). Finals will be between the top record in Bracket 1 & 2, and the top record Bracket 3.

Tied Games
If team handicaps indicate the possibility for a tied game, teams will be asked prior to the match for either shoot out or overtime. If both teams cannot agree, then teams will do a shootout.
 -- Shoot outs will follow USPA Rulebook Rule 14d, pg 65.
 -- Each player, alternating teams, will shoot Penalty 3s. After all players have hit, the teams with more points is declared the winner.  Should a tie remain, ALL PLAYERS will hit again, however the team which hit first will now hit second.
 - Overtime will follow USPA Rulebook Rule 14c, pg 65.

Tied Records:
 In the case of seeding, teams will draw for placement.
 In the case of elimination:
 - If 2 teams have tied records and they did NOT play each other, then the tie is broken by a shootout.
 - If 2 teams have tied records and they HAVE played each other, then the tie is broken by who beat who. 
 - If 3 or more teams have tied records, then the tie is broken by a shootout.

Shootouts:
 -- 1 player from each team will shoot
 -- Shootout time and location is TBD and will be determined by the HTC
