Welcome to the 2023 Farish Cup Invitational! We have 5 teams playing in this year's tournament. Please see the draw and schedule below:
Tournament Format:
Friday Nov 17
- Teams will draw for who plays who in the semifinals
- Game 1: A vs B
- Game 2: C vs D vs E
Sunday Nov 19
- Farish Cup Finals: WG1 vs WG2
- Subsidiary Finals: LG1 vs LG2 vs LLG3
Tied Match Games
If teams end their game in a tie, then the tie will be broken with a shootout:
-- All players on each team (alternating teams) will shoot Penalty 2s. After all players have hit, the team with more points is declared the winner. Should a tie remain, ALL PLAYERS will hit again, however the team which hit first will now hit second.
Round Robin Tied 2-chukker game Rules:
Should any 2 chukker game result in a tie, the winner shall be determined by the shootout procedure with only 1 player from each of the tied teams will shoot. The shootout will take place immediately following the game between the 2 tied teams.
Shootout Procedure:
1 player from each of the tied teams will shoot Penalty 2s. After players have hit, the teams with more points is declared the winner. Should a tie remain after the first round, players will hit again.
Round Robin Tied Record Rules:
The winner of the Round Robin is the team with the best won-lost record. In the event of a won/lost tie at the end of the Round Robin, the order of finish will be determined using the following method:
1. Based on net goals
2. If net goals is inconclusive, then gross goals
3. Lastly, the “shoot out” procedure if both net goals and gross goals are inconclusive
**Reminders**
- All players are required to wear a helmet that passes the NOCSAE ND050 Standard Performance Specification
- Games will be played on the flat
- All players must have USPA Dues paid
