Welcome to the 2022 NYTS Division of the HPC Junior tournament! Please see the schedule and rosters below.

With 4 teams, there will be 7 All Stars awarded!

Tournament Format:
4 teams - 2 day tournament
Friday semifinals:  Game 1 (A vs B) and Game 2 (C vs D)
Sunday:  
Subsidiary Finals (Loser Game 1 vs Loser Game 2)
Finals (Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2)

**In the case of tied games, teams will do a shootout. The NYTS shootout  tiebreaker procedure is found at the bottom of the page.**

Tournament Conditions:

• Players must provide their own horses, tack and equipment. Required equipment includes boots with heels and helmet with goggles or facemask.
• Overgirths are required for NYTS players
• Player entry fee must be paid in full before tournament begins.
• Tournament will be played on the flat
• Players in the Advanced (NYTS) Level ONLY must hold a current USPA handicap. www.uspolo.org
• A current HPC release form must be executed by all players/parents prior to participating in tournament. HPC Release Form Link

NYTS SHOOTOUT TIEBREAKER PROCEDURE
- All 4 team members take the penalties
- Teams will take 40 yard penalties as individual team players in the order of the draw i.e: a member of team 1 will be followed by team 2, who will be followed by team 1, etc, until all teams have completed their 40 yard penalties
- The team with the least number of goals will not qualify, and, if the teams are level after the penalties, players from each team shall continue in the same order to take one penalty each from the 60 yard line until one has less goals than the other, having taken the same number of penalties.
