Welcome to the 2019 Junior Tournament! We have lots of kids playing this year, please see the schedules below!

Conditions of Tournament:

• Players must provide their own horses, tack and equipment. Required equipment includes boots with heels and helmet with goggles or facemask.
• Player entry fee must be paid in full before tournament begins.
• Players in the Advanced (NYTS) Level ONLY must hold a current USPA handicap. www.uspolo.org
• A current HPC release form must be executed by all players/parents prior to participating in tournament. HPC Release Form Link

NYTS Tournament Format: 6 teams
Semifinals (Friday): 2 round robin games
                           (A v B v C, D v E v F)
Finals (Sunday): Round robin winners move on to finals. 
Consolation G1 will be between the 3rd place teams in the round robins. 
Consolation G2 will be between the 2nd place teams in the round robins.

NYTS Shootout Tiebreaker Procedure (I.26.c-d, pg 164-165 in rule book):
Round Robin Tied Games:

• In the case of tied games during round robins, teams will shootout following the “NYTS Shootout Tiebreaker Procedure” stated above.  This could mean a shootout could happen after the first 2 chukkers, after the second 2 chukkers, or after the third 2 chukkers.
• IF all teams have tied (1,1) records, then there will be another shootout following the round robin following the “NYTS Shootout Tiebreaker Procedure” stated above. 

Tied Games

• In the case of tied games, teams will do a shootout
• All 4 players from each team shoot a penalty 3, alternating between teams (member of team 1 followed by member of team 2)
• After all 8 players have shot 1 time, if the teams are still tied, the shootout will go to sudden death shooting penalty 4s.  Players will shoot in the same order as the first round.​
