Welcome to our second Pro Am tournament this Spring season! We will have 5 teams playing, please see the tournament format, schedule, and rosters below.
Tournament Format
- 2 day knockout tournament
- Day 1: Game 1 (4 chukker game) & Game 2 (Round Robin)
- Day 2: Game 1 and Game 2 winners advance to the finals. The 3 runners up will play a match game round robin
Tied Games
If teams end their game in a tie, then the tie will be broken with a shootout:
-- 1 player (either professional or amateur), alternating teams, will shoot Penalty 3s. After all players have hit, the team with more points is declared the winner. Should a tie remain, ALL PLAYERS will hit again, until a winner is declared.
Round Robin Tied Game Rules:
Should any 2 chukker game result in a tie, the winner shall be determined by the shootout procedure in USPA Outdoor Rule 14.d (players shoot penalty 3s only) except that only 1 player from each of the tied teams will shoot. The shootout will take place immediately following the game between the 2 tied teams.
Round Robin Rules:
The winner of the Round Robin is the team with the best won-lost record. In the event of a won/lost tie at the end of the Round Robin, the order of finish will be determined using the following method:
1. Based on net goals
2. If net goals are inconclusive, then gross goals
3. Lastly, the “shoot out” procedure set forth in USPA Outdoor Rule 14.d, if both net goals and gross goals are inconclusive
**Reminders**
- Games will be played on handicaps
- Spare changes at end lines only
- All players are required to wear a helmet that passes the NOCSAE ND050 Standard Performance Specification
- All players must have USPA Dues paid

With that in mind, we ask that our polo members respect each other's privacy and refrain from posting images of fellow members who do not wish to be publicized, or that risk the reputation of the club or its affiliates.
