Welcome to the 2017 12 Goal season at the Houston Polo Club! We have 5 teams in our first tournament. Teams are guaranteed 2 games in the 5 Star Draw format, the top 4 records will move on to the semifinals.
In the case of tied records between teams that have advanced to the semis, we will have a draw to determine semifinal placements (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). In the case of tied records between teams facing elimination, we will have a shootout. USPA Shootout Rules apply.
We will remove the semis if rain delays the tournament for an extended period of time. Which if that is the case, we will have a shootout for teams that have tied records to determine rankings.
Reminders:
Umpire Horses - Teams need to bring 2 suitable umpire horses to their games, tacked in full polo bridles with 4 reins
Players - If spareholders are on horseback, they need to wear a helmet
